Conference Reflection:
I went through my Project 2 with Mat. Initially, I wasn't sure how my project was. I was very confused on how the research fit in. Mat told me that is mostly just at the end of the paper, as a supplement to what you have already said. That helped me a lot because I was approaching this like a research paper. I struggled with sounding too didactic when writing. Mat advised me to write this paper almost like a narrative. For my second draft of P2, I went back and added much more description on my first encounter with my community. I also made it relevant to past experiences I had in a related community. I think I am now on the right track for Project 2, but still have a ways to go before my final draft is complete.
